Recently saw &lt;a href="http://imdb.com/title/tt0365376" rel="nofollow"&gt;A Tale of Two Sisters&lt;/a&gt; and thought this was an excellent “J-Horror”, though it’s more a “K-Horror” as it was made in Korea. I highly recommend this one.

Also of Korean origin is &lt;a href="http://imdb.com/title/tt0325655" rel="nofollow"&gt;The Eye&lt;/a&gt;. This one’s got a few good chills and a lovely build-up of tension.

For something a little different, check out Takashi Miike’s &lt;a href="http://imdb.com/title/tt0235198" rel="nofollow"&gt;Audition&lt;/a&gt;. This is one of my favourite movies in recent years. It’s a slow build, but the brutal ending is worth it (and be warned, it’s brutal).</description>
