The Movie Show #21 - PLANET OF THE APES
The Movie Show #21 (MP3 - 18MB - 50min)
The One & Only Movie podcast (on TPN) is back from a multi-week hiatus, and I think the way we are all feeling can best be summed up by His Doggfatherness:
From the depths of the sea, back to the block
Snoop Doggy Dogg, Funky, yes but of the Doc
Went solo on that ass, but it’s still the same
Long Beach is the spot where I served my cane
Follow me, follow me, follow me, follow me, but don’t lose your grip
Nine-trizzay’s the yizzear for me to fuck up shit
So I ain’t holdin nuttin back
And motherfucker I got five on the twenty sack
It’s like that and as a matter of fact [rat-tat-tat-tat]
Cuz I never hesitate to put a nigga on his back
[Yeah, so peep out the manuscript
You see that it's a must we drop gangsta shit]
What’s my motherfuckin name?
… yeah, okay, I have NO IDEA wtf Snoop’s talking about… so let’s talk movies.
This week:

PLANET OF THE APES. Not that 2001 pissweak Tim Burton dud, I’m talking 196-muthafrakin-8, Charlton Heston in da house, bringin it home. You KNOW what ahm talkin about.
But what’s it all got to do with Mike?

Dunno, but that’s some funnyass shit.
Also this week we dissect:
Flightplan (2005)
MirrorMask (2005)
Dead Man (1995)
Alexander (2004)

The show started so well and then you started talking about movies :P
As usual a total mishmash of a show which was obviously not very rehearsed but which also makes it more amusing.
Oh you were trying to be serious??

In case you’re wondering why Tim Burton casts “3-named woman” in so many of his movies….SHE’S HIS WIFE!

Nice to see you’ve got a 33% hit rate for a film that’s fairly common. Can’t wait to hear the discussion about the foreign films that i’ve never heard of.
In truth, i’m still laughing at the start of the podcast and i haven’t even managed to get to the actual discussion of the films.
On a completely unrelated topic i’m currently watching Mean Girls and it’s actually a very funny film. And yes, it is the Lindsay Lohan film.
Looking forward to the Garden State talk. It’s a great film.
