Actor Christopher Eccleston has quit as Doctor Who after just one episode of the new series has been screened, the BBC has confirmed.

This is big news for the film business. Coincidentally, I am half-way through reading “Down and Dirty Pictures” by Peter Biskind which covers the rise of Miramax and their alliance with Disney. Interesting to note that the Weinstein’s are taking new films from Tarantino and Kevin Smith with them.
